In the La Liga, Real Madrid thrashed Almeria 5-0 with goals form Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Isco and Morata while Atletico beat Getafe 7-0 to end up 3 points behind leaders Barcelona, who defeated Granada 4-0. Two first half penalties from Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas and second half strikes from Alexis Sanchez and Pedro Rodriguez led the Blaugrana to victory.
In the Bundesliga, Bayern showed Dortmund why they're one of the most threatening teams in the world. Mario Gotze, Arjen Robben and Thomas Muller scored for Bayern in the 3-0 win.
In the Premier League, Chelsea moved to 3rd place with an easy 3-0 win against West Ham. Lampard scored twice and a brace from Oscar secured 3 points for Mourinho's blues. In the other fixtures Arsenal breached Southampton's defense twice to go four points clear of Liverpool and Chelsea.
